Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SplitLook browser extension (“the Service” or “Extension”). By installing or using SplitLook, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

1. License

SplitLook is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the Extension or any part of it, except as permitted by applicable law.

2. Paid Features

Certain features, including ChatGPT Optimizer, require purchase of a valid license key. All sales are final and license fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and any device identifiers used to activate paid features.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, third-party terms, or the rights of others;
  • Interfere with, disable, or circumvent technical measures related to licensing or feature access;
  • Misrepresenting the capabilities of the Extension or claiming functions it does not provide.
    (Note: the Extension does not have the ability to modify, enhance, or improve the underlying AI models or their outputs.)

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee compatibility with every website or service.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of SplitLook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use information.

7. Updates and Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
